Tenet, can you switch that finder view to the one with columns and expand it way out so we can see the folder structure leading all the way up to the "Warhammer Online" folder you posted the screenshot of?

That screenshot appears to have quite a few files missing, which would cause the game not to run. Is folder the one inside the Warhammer Online app package that you run to play the game?

Double check that the app package you're putting those mods in is actually the one that's in your applications folder that you click on to log in to game. It looks like the folder you're showing us is a fresh download that hasn't been run yet.

Now that you say that.. all his huge .myp files are missing..

Here is what a functional install should look like

Ahh...I think you nailed it.  My desktop shortcut points to a copy of the game in my Downloads folder, while I'm making changes to a copy of the game that resides in my Applications folder.  I apologize for the confusion, I feel pretty stupid right about now.  :smileysad:

I have been using the Mac client for a couple of weeks now, and also have been having problems with addons.  I placed the addon "waaaghbar" in the correct location and it even shows up as an enabled addon in the Interface Settings window.  However, there is no change to the UI.  I type /wgb, which is supposed to be the slash command for the waaaghbar menu, but WAR tells me that the command is not valid.

Any ideas?

P.S.  I haven't tried any other addons yet, but I'll try others tonight in case it's a waaaghbar issue.

Hey azuravian,

Many of the mods out there depend on a mod called libslash, have you tried installing that?

I have a similar problem, but I can't get it to work. Here is what I did:

Last night, I downloaded SoR and manually placed it in the correct folder. Entered the game, and the mod was fine. Woke up this morning, logged in game, and SoR does not show. I made sure that it was on the addon list (it is), and even downloaded LibSlash to see if I could bring up the options window for SoR that way. No dice. Yes, both mods show on the list, and I even tried removing SoR and reinstalling it manually, but still no dice. No little icon by the map, nothing.

Oddly, when I go into layout editor, the windows for SoR show up to be resized or moved.

Anyone able to help?

EDIT: After reading some posts at Curse.com for the mod, It seems people have had this problem, and the author suggests deleteing user settings through the user/interface folder. Mac does not appear to have this folder tree. I'm still stuck with no way to access this mod, yet the game insists its there.

I can't figure this out. I tried to follow the instructions by adding that folder to the Places bar and such but when I go to the Curse Client and to Preferences to add a game it always makes it WoW and won't let me change it too Warhammer. Also, it makes me type the game name and the location name... there is no browse button for me to choose the folder in the Places bar. I just currently downloaded the Mac Curse client from their site and it is v4.0 so it is all up to date... so what am I doing wrong? Oh and my client looks nothing like EricG's fromt he screenshot he posted ont he first page.

Here is a screenshot of what mine looks like:

Here is the sceenshot EricG posted of his client:
