1.   Scenerio populations remain unfixed 10-28-2009 04:46 PM

Of all the bugs, why are we focusing around the AP Regen when the Scenerios are still imbalanced? People are queueing, but not enough people are receiving the pop-up to join for both sides to be evenly balanced. Two different examples: I was zoned into a Scenerio where there were 4 Destruction players to 2 Order players. The Scenerio began with just them. Five minutes into it, Destruction is way ahead in points, we then get even amounts of Order and Destruction players and sometimes its too little, too late.

Example two: Great Scenerio going, even number of players, Everything is going great, then 5 or 6 more Destruction players are zoned in and  its now imbalanced.

Why is this STILL going on UNFIXED? And do not tell me to file a bug report on it because frankly Im tired of filing bug reports on it, obviously no one is listening.

definitly,

scenario populations need to balanced. every day its like three-to-one destro versus order really unfair. i think the only the que-ing system needs to be fixed. or maybe reduce the number of players in a scenario? like 12 vs 12 or 18-18.

Unforutunately this is a bi product of having scens pop quicker and ppl having the ability to delay or drop q's. I don't see this problem ever being resolved as you can't control what ever user does when they have these choices available.

You are right Vauleen, I didn't even think about how people can get the pop, but during the 2 minute wait, they can change their mind which leaves us shorthanded. I would say do something with the Scenerio  time start to allow it to determine who has said yes and who has said no to prevent too many players on one side. Or have the side that is overpopulated get nerfed in abilities to compensate for the lesser side.

Wish I could just try to get more players to do premades. Two groups of 6 people that you know will say yes and go in. Maybe that's another idea, only full groups can que to prevent imbalance.

I also want to add that it can be very frustrating when the scenerio is imbalanced and it doesnt shut down right away. So the team thats outnumbering us gets renown and experience, I think that really needs changed. Neither side should receive any points when the scenerio is imbalanced and shuts down.

sc's need to be re-addressed imo.

the last fix seemed to fix pop's when not alot of players around.  For instance, we get some pop's with 2 vs 2 etc, which are fine really for when no one else is around.

Needs work regarding queuing full partes and possiblilty to align approximate skill/renown players.

There should be a adjustment to allow for; once a sc is completed, you won't get put into a currently active sc.  Say once you complete a sc, you HAVE to be put in a queue for a new scenario.

Yea, unfortunately they do always pop with even numbers.  when the populations are uneven it's because people said no to the queue on one side and not the other.  Sucks, but there really is no way for the game to guess who is going to turn down a queue.  All it can do is try to invite new people in after they say no.

Personally, I wouldn't be against the scen queue yanking you.  If it pops, it immidately summons you to the scenario.  No choice to wait, no choice to leave, if it starts it pulls you in, even if in combat.  It would force even numbers.  Don't queue if you're not ready to join the scenario.  If a scen pulls you in, you can still always leave (and accept the penality.)

I'm not sure how the masses would feel about it though.  (I do think there should be 40 only scens though.  The span between lowRR 40s and highRR 40s is wide enough to be considered it's own tier.)

- Have fun
