OR we could all just realize that an unintended buff truly did pass thru, and that they are fixing it so that the playing field is slightly more level between the Rapid Fire and LoA skills.

You'll get the buff back, at the same time the SW's skill is improved.  You enjoyed a couple of months with the bump in damage, be thankful they didn't quickfix it like some of the other skills out there.

Detonate IS FIXED. IT IS NOT SUPPOSE TO DO 4x tooltop dsp

RoF is balance as to POS . so stop whinning

But again, I love how they want to nerf LoA...1 skill...when you have Warrior Priests, WP are so unbelievably OP it's not funny.  What other class can take 6 enemy players of the same level beating on him and survive it?  Watched it the other day, this WP was in a SC against me and he had half of the wb beating on him, he was alone, so only healing himself and he wasn't going down, and he tanked us until the SC ended...at least took all of our punishment for over a full minute and didn't even break a sweat.

You cant just come in here saying things like this though. You have to give lvl, RR, gear and a name for cases like this.

 

You want to know a more OP class than the WP. DOK. The DOK would of killed those 6 players beating in him, and not just let them beat on him.

 

In an SC you dont know if he is in range of a group heal,  or what. Also they have AOE detaunt that helps in cases like that.

It was a T1 SC, he was R10 with two R11's, three R10's, and me a R9 SH beating the ever living crap out of him.  It was Gates of Ekrund, and he was at our spawning point fighting the 6 of us, and the rest of his team were too far away to heal him...no one was in sight at all.  And he held us there trying to kill him until the game ended.  We never got him past 50%.  Even if he WAS in range of another healer, he still should have died with 6 comperable levels beating on him.  Sorry dude, but I'm not buying it.  You're trying to sell me a lemon.

No class regardless of skills, gear, blah blah blah, should EVER be able to take 6 other characters...there is no way you can explain it to me to have it make sense to me.  A R40 RR80, should not be able to survive six characters with R40 RR40's.  There just comes a time where you have to hang up the towel and say, "Yup, that's unfair."

Maybe all the DoK's I know suck but, they go down faster than a prom date when they are fighting more than 2 at a time.

EDIT: I guess with your logic that b/c I have a R8 Rune Priest, that I know all there is to know about Order now don't I?  Or do I have to wait until I get him past R10?

EDIT PART II: and because I have a R12 RR12 Squig Herder, I probably know Order better than you, see what I did there?

Lvl 16 DOK !!!.. Wow so you know destro class better than one who has 3 lvl 40 with RR40 and above .

I also have 3 Order toons .SW, RP is in T4 with KOTS in T2.

And Anyone who complain of SW, RP being Under powered, they should try zealot and the five known gimp destro classes (magus,mara,WE,BO,BG).

Order is easy mode , so stop complaining.

I was thinking about the nerf to lots o' arrers today while getting insta killed by a white lion...

Recently there was an official statement that they where not going to fix the bugged

white lion abilities because they didn't want to nerf the class ???

yet they have no problems nerfing a class that white lions kill in seconds...

I had to scratch my head and wonder...

It takes me a loong time to go through a white lions health,

or anyone else for that matter with lots o' arrers.

Usually two dots, and 2-3 complete lots of arrers volly's for someone not being healed,

( not counting tank classes ) its only the careless or overconfident that get killed,

most people back away, or just get healed ...

its like gee my health is dropping at an even rate better back up... if i move it turns of the volley

So why the nerf ?

Don't expect the damage to decrease dramatically from this "nerf" in patch 1.3.1. The only thing they did was lower the contribution from Ballistic Skill slightly. This whole thread is pointless. The "buff" in 1.3 was a mistake (surprise surprise) by Mythic. So they are just correcting it. No big deal. Time to move along to some other topic.

And, BTW, LF is getting "fixed" so don't worry about that either.

You know its funny, thats how I feel, a little less vehement maybe.

The nerf to this skill, when there are skills that really do need to be fixed that really do imbalance the game.

That they are leaving skills on other classes that insta kill me with no chance of escape.

And nerfing a channeled skill, where the caster needs to stand still for 7 seconds,

that can be easily avoided just by backing out of range where if we try and follow turns off our attack.

It does piss me off. And I have honestly turned over quitting in my mind.

I quit age of conan, guild wars, lotro , wow after 4 years, and a few others.

I have yet to determine if this is going to be worth sticking around for

and I have to say this is going a long way to tipping the scales towards no.

I do hope they reconsider nerfing, and just bump up the shadow warrior equivelent to match.

It makes more sense than bringing us down then bringign them bolth up later.

They won't reconsider. Perhaps down the road they will do that accross the board increase in damage contribution from stats like they tried to do in 1.3. But for now, after LoA gets brought to pre-1.3 levels we will have to wait and see.

A lot of people are angry that the Devs aren't balancing the game (classes and population) first instead of fixing the bugs. Really they should do both.... FAST. Every day I go from fort defense to fort defense and spend 20-40 minutes each time playing my Wargames add-on and cultivating while I'm waiting for my chance at a conqueror bag. It's getting old very quickly. I suspect the same can be said for others. Last night I logged on and the first thing I did was spend about 10 minutes fighting at the Maw. Then 50 minutes sitting there doing nothing. I had to watch TV and cultivate while I waited. I really didn't feel like playing anymore after that. So I logged. /sigh

What if some of these people had been playing the order mirror class since 1.3. Watching their mirror be able to kill things in periods of time you could only dream of with an ability that is bugged doing double your current damage.
