I would like to post about this test announcement to represent a returning player who came back after the free trial for halloween and stayed long enough to like what he saw.   I was amazed when i came back that almost immediately after i came back that altdorf was under siege.  It was my first time so I had no clue what to do and was very suprised to receive more than a few offers to join a guild, which almost never happened before.

I would like to argue as a person who has as their highest main on order lvl 37 rr 30(almost 31 yay!) bright wizard alefric, that i have seen a disturbing trend that must be considered.   It is a tendency on both sides to perform actions that will benefit them the most in terms of renown points, experience, and influence.

I am very very happy with the changes to city siege and as I have admitted to others i have never played to the highest levels of tier 4 on any character because the realm vs. realm was not so easy to level in for those who did not have enormous amounts of free time.   Please do not take all feedback you recieve as gospel because I have learned from my previous experience playing on hibernia, gawaine as someone who got 3 characters to lvl 50 that what the players ask for is not always what the really want.   Trials of Atlantis.

The WAR Dev team will be hosting a mass playtest tomorrow night, 11/11/2009, starting at 8:00 PM EST on the Public Test Server, Warpstone. We will be testing the newly reduced city siege timers and the values associated with advancing the city into stage two.
